Authorizing HireFire with Heroku

To reauthorize an existing account:

  1. Ensure that you're either logged out of Heroku, or logged in as the account that you wish to authorize, otherwise you might accidentally authorize the wrong account.
  2. From the HireFire dashboard click on the relevant organization. 
  3. In the HEROKU ACCOUNTS section, click on the Heroku account that you wish to reauthorize.
  4. Click on REAUTHORIZE.

If you were seeing authorization errors, these should disappear after the next checkup, typically within a minute.

To authorize a new account:

  1. Ensure that you're either logged out of Heroku, or logged in as the account that you wish to authorize, otherwise you might accidentally authorize the wrong account.
  2. From the HireFire dashboard click on the relevant organization.
  3. In the HEROKU ACCOUNTS section, click on the add (" + ") button.
  4. Click on AUTHORIZE

Authorization invalidation occurs when updating your Heroku account's password- or MFA/2FA configuration, as well as when we roll integration keys on our end. Rolling integration keys generally takes place during a security incident.
