Authorizing HireFire with Heroku
To reauthorize an existing account:
- Ensure that you're either logged out of Heroku, or logged in as the account that you wish to authorize, otherwise you might accidentally authorize the wrong account.
- From the HireFire dashboard click on the relevant organization.
- In the HEROKU ACCOUNTS section, click on the Heroku account that you wish to reauthorize.
- Click on REAUTHORIZE.
If you were seeing authorization errors, these should disappear after the next checkup, typically within a minute.
To authorize a new account:
- Ensure that you're either logged out of Heroku, or logged in as the account that you wish to authorize, otherwise you might accidentally authorize the wrong account.
- From the HireFire dashboard click on the relevant organization.
- In the HEROKU ACCOUNTS section, click on the add (" + ") button.
- Click on AUTHORIZE
Authorization invalidation occurs when updating your Heroku account's password- or MFA/2FA configuration, as well as when we roll integration keys on our end. Rolling integration keys generally takes place during a security incident.
