Sensitivity Options
The sensitivity options (upscale sensitivity and downscale sensitivity) allow you to create a scaling threshold, useful for improving stability for your scaling operations.
For example: setting your upscale sensitivity to 2 and downscale sensitivity to 3 will result in the following behavior:
When trying to scale up:
- Manager wants to scale up, but is halted by the sensitivity settings.
- Manager's upscale sensitivity is now at level 1.
- Manager doesn't want to scale.
- Manager's upscale sensitivity is now reset to level 0.
- Manager wants to scale up, but is halted by sensitivity settings.
- Manager's upscale sensitivity is now level 1.
- Manager wants to scale up again, and now it will because it reached level 2.
- Manager's upscale sensitivity is now reset to level 0.
When trying to scale down:
- Manager wants to scale down, but is halted by the sensitivity settings.
- Manager's downscale sensitivity is now at level 1.
- Manager wants to scale down again, but is halted by sensitivity settings again.
- Manager's downscale sensitivity is now level 2.
- Manager wants to scale down again, and now it can because it reached level 3.
- Manager's downscale sensitivity is now reset to level 0.
